I didn't think I would ever recover from that outing, but the Slug Club party was certainly a breath of fresh air. I met quite a few interesting people there. There were only two or three unknowns. Professor Slughorn definitely seems to know who's who in this school, for the most part.

I understand feeling upset about the outcome of the match, but some behavior seemed out right ridiculous. I couldn't believe how many fights broke out all because of a silly game. If you ask me, it's wildly inappropriate. I'm not surprised some people got thrown out of the country because of it.
I managed to have a decent time despite the loss. Though I wasn't really there for the game to begin with. I just tried to enjoy being away from home for a little while.

After spending a year at the castle, and especially this year with OWLs and all, I feel a bit cooped up in the estate. There's plenty of room, of course, but it's too familiar. And quiet. I need a change of scenery. Or at least activity. It's been ages since I've been shopping, maybe I'll roam the streets of London and renew my wardrobe on the latest fashions.
Summer is a busy season for Father so I haven't seen much of him since I returned but he's promised to make a dinner date with me sometime soon so we can catch up on things. It's been ages since we've had a real conversation face to face. I do hope he takes me to that delicious seafood restuarant we went to last time. He knows its my favorite.
