Personality

First Impression: To most, Blair may come off as quite the snob at first. Not in the most obvious or obnoxious of ways, but her general demeanor has a brush of arrogance directed at most people outside of her house under few exceptions.
Quirks/Habits: Raising an eyebrow in disgust or inquiry, hands on her hips, pursing her lips out.

Tracey falls more on the proper, sophisticated, and at times even delicate end of the Slytherin spectrum. However, she is quite versatile with the personalities of people she makes friends with. Well, if they're in Slytherin that is. Tracey definitely isn't openly prejudiced, but she's obviously very bias towards her own house or at least of her same social status which is upper class. She is often much more blunt and cold with people she isn't familiar with thanks to familial status or house connections. It is possible for her to peacefully co-exist with other houses, though, and most often she does. She's not one to intentionally start up trouble, but is quite willing to whip back a sharp reply to anyone who tries to conflict with her. In the best of situations, Tracey is a born leader with a firm understanding of those different from her even if she may not always choose to associate with them or even like them. Thanks mostly to her upbringing, she has always been able to voice her opinions and take charge of a situation when she sees fit. Blair differs from the average girl in that she is usually quite even tempered. Extremely polite, she knows how to keep up apperances with those who she sees as worthwhile. In the negative area of her personality, Tracey can be quite bossy. With her own views, she usually leaves little room for negotiation. Growing up with a mother who acts more childish than she did, she learned to take charge of things naturally. Tracey is also used to being pampered and takes very unkindly and strict offense to being treated anything less than what she's used to, which can tend to be high expectations considering her family background. And although she's never one to usually raise her voice she can definitely have her nasty, bitchy moments.

Family History: Tracey, not unlike the majority of the rest of her house, comes from old money. The Davis reputation precedes Tracey and even her grandparents' generation of witches and wizards. Because of their status, and her family's extended involvement in such a well popularized sport around the world (that is her father being the captain of the Falmouth Falcons), Tracey's name is often recognized and acknowledged by most as that of a higher class. Tracey herself, ironically, doesn't particularly care for Quidditch quite as much as the rest of her family which may have something to do with the fact that she was subjected to it so much unwillingly at an early age. She's more of the pampered type of girl and doesn't find the world of sports terribly appealing. Tracey was born and raised in London, and received a decent upbringing. She certainly didn't have much to complain about on the subject of being denied any material possessions since she was exposed to the typical spoiled lifestyle most pureblood children of wealth receive. But also like most children of wealth, Tracey didn't always get the emotional attention she needed, and often spent more time with the household servants and playmates than her actual family during her younger years. This may be the main cause for the sometimes colder and harsher aspects of her personality. Tracey connects best with her father who she is most similar to in demeanor and opinion. They are both prefer logical, refined yet isolated styles of living as opposed to Blair's mother who tends to be more fanatical and manipulative. She can also be almost childish at times in her manipulative and spoiled attitude. Like Tracey, she's used to fine things. But unlike Tracey, her mother can be rude and spoiled when she doesn't always get her way. Tracey found these traits of her mother to frequently infuriate and embarrass her from an early age and since then the two have never been close. You wouldn't guess Tracey's lack of maternal influence, since she seems to actually act more mature than most of her peers the majority of the time. In reality it is most likely because of her mother's irresponsible examples that Tracey has learned to behave this way even though she sometimes secretly resents the fact that she has to act like the adult and her mother the child.
